    KODIAK, Alaska- Coast Guard Petty Officer Mark Kenolio assists Petty Officer Joseph Zemchak guide a load of gear into a C-130 that will be heading south. The C-130 crew will be pre-staged down south to provide communications support and supplies and equipment that may be needed to support rescue efforts due to the effects Hurricane Rita. The C-130 crew of seven is leaving here with nine other passengers consisting of HH-60 Jayhawk and HH-65 Dolphin helicopter crewmembers.     KODIAK, Alaska- Coast Guard Petty Officer Mark Kenolio secures a pallet of gear inside a C-130 south bound. The C-130 crew will be assisting with rescue efforts, providing communications support and delivering fresh crews, supplies and equipment that may be needed due to the effects of Hurricane Rita. The C-130 crew will also be stopping along the way to pick up additional volunteers before they land in Sacramento, Calif., where the group will split up.     KODIAK, Alaska – Two Coast Guard C-130 crewmen walk out to their aircraft to begin flight preparations at the Coast Guard air station here. The crewmen are part of a group of 16 Coast Guardsmen who are heading to pre-stage for rescue and recovery efforts if Hurricain Rita makes landfall. The C-130 air crew will make stops to pick up additional volunteers before stopping in Sacramento, Calif. At Sacramento the group will be split up before heading to their pre-stage areas. The C-130 aircrew will be pre-staged in Little Rock, Ark., while crewmen who fly in the HH-60 Jayhawk rescue helicopter will be pre-staged in El Paso, Texas. The Kodiak C-130 aircrew is prepared to provide communications support and deliver fresh crews, supplies and equipment that may be needed to support rescue and response operations. This is the second time this month that Air Station Kodiak has sent a C-130 air crew to assist with hurricane operations. A C-130 air crew recently returned to Kodiak after assisting with rescue and recovery operations after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast Region. The pallet contains water, food and baggage for a group of 16 Coast Guardsmen who are heading to pre-stage for rescue and recovery efforts if Hurricane Rita makes landfall. The group is made up of seven C-130 air crewmen, four HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crewmen and three HH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew.     KODIAK, Alaska – Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Mark Panicek, a C-130 aircraft pilot, boards his aircraft at the air station here. Panicek and his crew left Kodiak today to assist with rescue and recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The seven members of the C-130 crew are the first from Kodiak to be deployed in support hurricane recovery operations. When the crew arrives they will join with more than 4,000 other Coast Guard personnel who are already conducting operations in the area.
